Kind, attentive service, and the perfect kimono for my daughter
We visited to look for a kimono for my daughter.
The staff took great care of us from start to finish and found a kimono that suited her perfectly in color, pattern and size.
They explained each step of the dressing clearly, so we felt completely at ease.
They were gentle with her during the hair styling too, and their warm hospitality really touched me.
So happy with everything, from the pretty accessories to the classic kimono
I rented a komon for a dinner out.
There were plenty of pretty accessories, such as lace obi ornaments and han-eri collars, along with a good range of classic kimono and accessories, so it seemed to suit all kinds of tastes.
They looked after us carefully in Japanese too, which was reassuring.
It is close to Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, the prices are reasonable, and I was very happy that hair styling and hair accessories were included.

I only meant to look around at first, but the owner was so kind and welcoming that I stayed.
They took care of everything from choosing a kimono to trying it on and dressing, and it felt like a real luxury.

Check before you visit
Allow about 60 minutes in total for choosing your kimono, dressing and hair styling before you set off.
※Times vary depending on how busy we are on the day and how long you spend choosing your kimono. If you have plans afterwards, such as a meal or temple visits, please allow plenty of time.
Zori sandals, a kinchaku bag, all the accessories needed for dressing and hair accessories are included in the plan.
※While you are out, we also store your clothes, everyday bags and larger luggage such as travel suitcases at the shop free of charge, so you can set off with nothing to carry.
As well as Japanese, we always have staff on hand who speak Chinese and English.
※Even when you visit with friends or family from overseas, they can easily tell us which kimono they like and how they would like their hair. Everyone can relax and enjoy the experience.
