Frequently asked questions about kimono rental

What if I return the kimono late?

If you return after the final return time on the day, a late fee of ¥1,000 per 10 minutes applies. Next-day return costs ¥1,000. A deposit of ¥10,000–50,000 per person, depending on the kimono, is collected when you arrive and refunded when you return the kimono.

Can I wear a kimono if I am petite or tall?

Petite: For women over 140 cm tall, we can adjust the fit. Tall: If you are up to 170 cm, you can wear our kimono as usual. If you are taller, the hem may be slightly short.

How far in advance can I book?

We accept reservations about 3 months in advance. The booking window varies by season, but reservations always open at least two months ahead.
